On Thursday, August 18, UEDA's Staff and Board of Directors welcomed our Members, Community Partners and Volunteers to Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub for our annual evening of thanks and celebration.
We began the evening with a recap of our work over the past year and shared the following highlights from our 2015 Impact Report:
Engaged over 350 individual professionals in projects such as
Take Root Milwaukee, Food Enterprise Development Network, Small Business
Affinity Group and Money Smart Week Milwaukee.
Promoted trustworthy resources to the public through Take Root Milwaukee and Money Smart Week Milwaukee. For example, we coordinate the production and distribution 10,000 Money Smart Week Milwaukee Resource Guides each year. If you'd like Guides to distribute to your clients and/or residents, etc. please contact us!
Grew the UEDA membership network by 11% in 2015, and since last August, staff have
conducted over 30 Stakeholder meetings to find out how we can better
serve our Members.
"If we all don't do SOMETHING, then NOTHING will be the result."
We also took a moment to recognize the following individuals for their consistent and long-standing support of UEDA and genuine commitment to community and economic development.
