What we're working on...
  • UEDA's Take Root Milwaukee project is hosting their Summer Homeownership Fair on Saturday, August 18th at the Milwaukee Academy of Science! The FREE event will feature a resource fair where attendees can talk to lenders, Realtors, neighborhood organizations, homeownership specialists, and City of Milwaukee representatives. A workshop on the homebuying process will be offered as well as a neighborhood homes tour. Check out the facebook event for details and updates. Please share with your networks, clients and residents!
  • UEDA Members are invited to join us for our Annual Community Gathering on Monday, August 20 at Merriment Social! This is our yearly opportunity to thank our members, partners and funders, as well as highlight accomplishments from the last year and share our vision for the future. We will also acknowledge outgoing Board members and recognize an individual and organization for their outstanding commitment to the community and support of UEDA’s mission. UEDA Members can RSVP here >>
  • On July 18, we hosted the first session for our 'Color of Law' summer book club. We were joined by a group of individuals with different perspectives, familiarity with the topic and take-away's that made for an insightful and productive discussion around segregation. Our next discussion session will be held on September 19 from 4:30pm-6:00pm and will cover chapters 8 through the final FAQ's. Click here to sign-up >>
