At UEDA we work closely with our members, partners and the public to develop opportunities for collaboration, capacity building, and facilitating valuable connections. Learn more on how our programs and projects below and view our 2023 Impact Report to see how our work comes to life.
Collaboration
Collaboration is at the core of our mission and is one of the most powerful ways we work with members and partners to impact the community.
As a convener, we facilitate these opportunities with our members, partners, and stakeholders to build programs that strengthen Wisconsin communities and urban neighborhoods, focusing particularly on housing, economic inclusion, small business support, and nonprofit capacity.
Capacity
UEDA designs, coordinates, and delivers technical assistance that helps nonprofits and partners in the community and economic development sector strengthen their capacity and increase impact.
We also help organizations and small businesses in our network access resources and expertise to address strategic and operational needs.
Connections
UEDA works to ensure the broader community is aware of the programs and services available through our network.
As a third-party intermediary, we also help members and partners develop and sustain mutually beneficial, cross-sector relationships.
Our events and communications connect our network to timely information and provide opportunities for shared learning.
Membership
UEDA’s staff and Board of Directors are strong believers in the power of partnerships and collaboration – we recognize that a diverse and engaged membership base helps us all achieve more.
UEDA membership is open to corporations, nonprofits, foundations, governmental departments, small businesses, students, and individuals who are interested in making meaningful change in Wisconsin’s community and economic development sector.
